Heart. Home. Hood

The church is the practical outworking of God in a people who have been transformed by Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection.

That changes everything.

Heart. Home. Hood

The church is the practical outworking of God in a people who have been transformed by Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection.

That changes everything.

The Gospel comes to you, to go through you.

Saving people through the blood of the Jesus is what God is about and as Christians, we are called to join Him in that work. Our role is to communicate the gospel to the fallen world around us in word and deed with the hope that they too, would have fellowship with Him and that our joy would be made complete.

Communicating the gospel to one another and to those we are hoping to see come to faith in Jesus doesn't have to be complicated. We believe that it is best summed up in 3 words: Heart, Home, and Hood.

What we mean when we talk about:

Yours is a heart that is being pursued.

"Heart" speaks to our intimacy with God through His Word, fully submitting to His Spirit. Christians have been given new hearts, have been given His holy Spirit indwelling, and have been given the desire to be obedient. But all of this can wain if it’s not cherished and nurtured by the One who gave it. We believe that the redeemed heart is the fountain from which the work of the redeemer flows.

You represent a home that is being changed.

If your heart is aligned with God's then the persons closest to you should be receiving the fruit of that intimacy first. We believe that this is the first call to discipleship. The call is the same whether you are a parent, a spouse, a roomate - whatever the relationship. If you’ve been given other people to share life with, then you are called to steward those relationships in ways that honor Him.

We all live in a hood that needs to hear God’s Story.

The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus were all very public actions by our Lord, and purposefully so. He is on a mission to proclaim to the world how much He has loved them, and He’s telling it through His saints. As a church, we desire not only to accept the truth of who Jesus is and what He has done but to love our neighbors and our cities radically so that lives would be changed.

What Are Missional Communities?

The Christian life is meant to be lived with others and for others. Missional Communities provide the opportunity for both. These are smaller groups within the church that seek to encourage and build one another up in faith, while being intentional about who they are hoping to reach. As a church, we believe that as missional communities mature, they become the foundation of another church plant.

Because we are a new work, we will start with one missional community and then multiply them as leaders and gospel understanding grow.

Sunday Worship

Sunday worship is about coming together to engage with God and to engage with one another. We believe the people who show up on Sundays are being pursued by God at the heart level. Those who have responded to His pursuit are hoping to commune with Him and to experience His presence through the regular practice of worshipping with the saints.

Join us on Sundays for a time of prayer, praise, preaching, fellowship and communion.
